I was lucky enough to enjoy your wonderful show at Carnegie Hall a few years ago, and now had the opportunity to see you again at the Metropolitan Museum of Art concert on March 3rd. I spent the entire concert grinning from ear to ear - it was WONDERFUL! As I noticed that this show was being recorded, I'm hoping you will be releasing that performance on cd in the near future. Can't wait!!! The music from the 1920's - 1930's was just so special. Thanks for keeping it alive!

I wish I were able to come to one of Max and the Orchester concerts this year... Nearly 2 years ago I was looking for '20s-'30s music on the internet, and I found him, by chance. I was immediately impressed ! His music is so amazing ! ! I think it's classy, romantic, full of poetry...words are not enough, let's just say that this is true music that will definitely stay for ever.

My husband, Rolf, & I saw your show tonight at the HOP at Dartmouth in NH. What a wonderful show! You guys were great!!! We had such great seats: literally front row center. After the show I went over & spoke with Rainer and asked if you ever sang 'Wenn ein junger Mann kommt' and he said it was part of your repertoire, but not tonight. I told Rainer that Rolf's uncle, Franz Grothe, wrote that song for him when he was born! We look forward to seeing you perform again some day.

My husband and I attended the Symphony Hall (Boston) matinee, on Sunday, March 4, 2012. It was the first time we were able to see Herr Raabe and the Palast Orchester live, but it will not be the last.

The entire show was wonderful, start to finish. Music, pacing, showmanship and more were excellent. The Comedy Harmonists, Spike Jones, and Jimmy Dorsey all came to mind. We loved it.

Herr Raabe was gracious enough to meet those of us who waited at the stage door, and he was courtly and very kind. Not only did he sign our CD, he was also willing to pose for photos.

Thank you so very much! We will be in the audience again, and I hope we will also meet.

My wife and I and my brother and his wife attended the concert in Concord, NH. It was a great evening. I love this music. Herr Raabe's rendition of Night and Day by Cole Porter was different from other renditions I know but intelligent and beautifully performed. The band and Herr Raabe give lie to the idea that Germans lack a sense of humor. The only thing missing from the atmosphere created by Herr Raabe and the Palast Orchester was smoke. This is not just a fine musical event, it is a great theatrical event. May the Orchester play on and on and on. Thank you.

may I imitate the tone of the preceding comments from the Concord, NH concert. Truly, I enjoyed this performance more than just about any concert I've attended. Please keep performing and recording for years to come, and please come back.

I saw your concert in Concord, New Hampshire last night. What a wonderful show! Flawless from start to finish. I can't think of anyone who wouldn't enjoy an evening with the Palast Orchester.
